TC TO JOHN FORSTER
Chelsea, Monday Morning [3 July 1843]—
I am about getting off, hitherto without accident. The process of Packing is frightful! You have to get into such a state of clairvoyance, and prophesy everything!—
The three Francias came. Any farther “message” there may be about that business, pray leave it with my Wife, who is instructed how to dispose of it.
The last Chuzzlewit on Yankeedoodledodom is capital.1 We read it here with loud assent, loud cachinnatory approval! You may tell Dickens if you like.
And now Westward Ho! And may the Heavens be good to you all, and to Forster in especial, till I come back!
