TC TO DAVID LAING
Chelsea, 10 jany 1846
My dear Sir,
I did not mean to hurry you; but it seems we are just going to Press again with this Book on Cromwell: wherefore if you have any emendations for me on the first portions of the business, I will ask you to send them straightway, or to get them ready for me so soon as your convenience will serve.1 In about another week the Printer may probably be at work again:— but he will not reach the Scotch Part (where I principally expect you) for a good many weeks yet. Do what you can for me.
Yours always truly /
