Dear Sir,

I hope you duly sent the two completions of F. Revolution Copies to their destinations. Here are two more Copies to complete, and despatch by Magazine day; you will find the Addresses in the Books themselves (which are coming by Parcels Compy): along with one of the F. R. Copies, to Dumfries (as you will see), there go certain other little Books.—— There is now just one First volume left with me;—pray send down the completion of that to me; and so we shall rest for the present.

Could you pay me that remaining £450, without much inconvenience, on or before the 5th inst? We go out of Town for a while about the 7th, and I want my bits of investments completed first, if it will suit.

Yours always truly /

T. Carlyle
