I havn't forgotten you the least in the world!—“could draw your pictur”! (as my scottish maid1 used to express vivid remembrance) And I should like to see you and hear all about you by word of mouth. I am still the same poor creature you last saw me—indeed if I didn't inherit some of the spirit of my Great-Ancestress (Daughter of John Knox) I couldn't have kept body and soul together to this date!
