Dear Spedding,

W. E. Forster of Bradford, my fellow-pilgrim in Ireland, is about visiting the Lake Country on his return. If he can come to Greta Bank, pray welcome him, as you would a most worthy and ingenuous man, who will have many things to say, and to ask while in your company.
