JWC TO JEANNETTE CRAIK
5 Cheyne Row / Wednesday [12 March 1851?]
Oh my Dear!
I too am “very very sorry”!1 But let us hope it will be all right in the end—as dear Mr Craik can be offensive to no political party; a change of ministry could hardly affect the question of a pension for him. I am in great haste, / Yours ever affly /
