Dear Mrs Procter,
In your Husband's absence will you take charge of this Paper,—which you, treacherously, have not called for;—and send me a sign that it is safe in your hands. A Proof-sheet, if it be later than a week hence, will probably not find me here; nor indeed do I know where it will find me.
