TC TO WILLIAM CONINGHAM
Chelsea, 19 Novr, 1851—
Dear Coningham,
I had already, the day before your Letter came, made the requisite change of y into i, and sent it to the Printer; having discovered that I was wrong in that particular.1
I am at present very busy; bound to ride, too, at 3 o'clock, which in such frosty weather is no sinecure.
Wish me well; and come and see me.
Yours ever truly /
T. Carlyle
