Dear Mrs Milnes
We dine at Bath House tomorrow, and one always comes away late from there. But I will try. Tho' I can't say as Macready1 once said to me “When I say I'll try—I try; and when I try—I do”! I am not nearly so grand as that! I am very apt—moi—to try and fail to do. Yours truly
