My dear Sir,
Here is the Duke of Argyll's ready acceptance of the intended Gift. I can take charge of leaving it at “Stafford House” (his Father-in-law's)1 without the least trouble, if you judge London the route it shd go by.— If there is any conveyance to Inverary from Edinr, that will evidently be the briefest way of getting hold of his Grace. Be sure to spell him “yll” (not “yle,” as is perhaps the grammatically correct form)!
