TC TO JOSEPH NEUBERG
Dear Neuberg,—I suspect this is the very Book Chelius wished to send us: it is the same Duchess, same &c. It will be necessary to take immediate measures that we do not get two Copies!— I suppose you have already written to Chelius; perhaps the best way will be to inclose a copy of Donne's question here; or the question itself.1
Donne, I perceive, understands that Wms & Norgate are to negociate the Books, and that he, Donne, still needs to order them. On both these points I will take care to undeceive him.
My Brother is off, writes from Edinburgh this morning, and will be at Scotsbrig tonight.
Yours ever truly / T. Carlyle2
