Dear Forster,—There is not a word to be said about that Note from the seat of war:1 I only send it as a sample of the small shot emitted by the enemy's batteries in this new stage.2
Their annuity called Long is fairly solid, I infer;—and trust in God the perpetual Annuity will be concluded citissime [very quickly], citissime!—
