Dear Neuberg,

Here is a Letter, which I shall be glad to hear good news of.1

There is plenty of Ms here in the printable state (done in Annandale while I was last there); and a huge stock, which I shudder to think of revising, and making ready,—my new Amanuensis having a fearful liability to blunder while writing from my lips.

I never paid you for the Paper: it is not right after all; but Giotto2 cannot change it; an “improved sort,” he says:—and my Wagner is trying otherwise. I never was in such haste. Yours ever truly
