TC TO HENRY LARKIN
Chelsea, 21 May 1857—
My dear Sir,
I have two very confidential messages to send tomorrow (Friday)—one to Robson which is easy, and not many ounces in physical weight; the other is to the Prussian Embassy Carlton Gardens, and is I fear too heavy, in the worst sense!1
However, I shall be much obliged if you will call tomorrow as you pass about 1 o'clock (or whenever it is): if I be at home, I will see you and advise what is to be done.
In great haste / Yours ever truly / T. Carlyle
