TC TO HENRY LARKIN
Chelsea, 18 june, 1858—
My dear Sir,
Do not come to us till Monday Evg: we go out of Town tomorrow (Saturday) morning, and do not return till Monday.
Here in the meanwhile are two Railway Problems, of which if you could work out the solution I shd be much obliged:
1°. What are the Trains from Hull (in Yorkshire) to Whitby in do?1
2°. What from Newcastle (southward) to the same Whitby?2— To whh if you like you may add this third,
3°. What are the Trains from London to Whitby?3 (There are return tickets and grand “excursions” thither,—flamingly advertised,—but I as yet know only the prices).
It is probable you will discover all these things in the Pamphlet whh I send along with this: but unless your patience (strengthened by benevolence)—
