I return your books; and heartily thank you for the pleasure they have afforded me— I fear you think I have kept them long: nevertheless I have not been idle— I have dismissed my German Master (for the enormous offence of asserting all words beginning with capitals to be the names of towns) and I think I get on faster without him—.
