My dear Sir,—Count Pepoli, who is at present candidate for a Professorship in the London University,1 wishes much for a sight of your Book Le Imprise di G. Ruscellai;2 meaning, I think, to testify thereby that he is properly of British descent,3 connected with King John Lackland,4 and therefore entitled etc! Can you let him have it for a while?— Also for me, is the Repository out?5
