TC TO JOHN FORSTER
Fraser's, Monday [11 May 1840]—
Dear Forster,
I meant but am not able to get as far as your desk today. Can you send by Fraser's messenger your Report of Lecture I; it seemed altogether “ready” when I had it last.——— I have got another report of Lect. II; but I doubt it is like to be of no use whatever to you.
I am not well, I could not attend you on Saturday, and long much to hear what was done.
Yours always /
T. Carlyle
