TC TO JOHN MURRAY, JR.
5 Cheyne Row, Chelsea 1 Jany, 1842—
My dear Sir,
I think I had once the pleasure of seeing you here. It strikes me I may as well apply to you as to another for advice and response as to a certain Literary Project that is sometimes in my head lately,—as yet in a very vague state.1
If you will appoint me any day of next week, and any hour between 2 and 4, I can readily meet you in Albemarle Street.
I am always / Yours very truly,
T. Carlyle
