Chelsea, Monday 23 May, 1842—
Dear Grant,
You are within reach of that Old-Book vender, Brown in St Luke's,1 at whose shop you and I met last year. The inclosed slip of paper is from one of his Catalogues; I fear, the Catalogue for 1841 not '42: nevertheless he may still have the Book indicated (Lockinge's Naseby Field),2 or be able to procure it. If so, pray buy it for me; and let that at least bring you hither!
