Chelsea, 13 April, 1843—

Dear Sir,

I bethink me that the American mail-packet sails in these very days (on Tuesday, I think): it will be well to let that be fairly under way before we publish, in order to give my Boston friends a better chance.1 With this postscript I stand by what was written yesterday.
