TC TO ELIZA FLETCHER
5. Cheyne Row, Chelsea / 9 May, 1845—
Dear Mrs Fletcher,
It would give me great pleasure indeed to see you and Miss Fletcher1 again: but at present I have a body of Printers upon me, chasing me day and night; and I cannot get away anywhither for an hour.
My Wife unites with me in very kind regards to both of you; and would be much gratified if your way ever led you hither,—as why should it not?2
Believe me always / Yours with many kind regards /
T. Carlyle
