TC TO JOSEPH NEUBERG
Chelsea, Wedy night [mid-March or mid-May 1849]
Dear Neuberg,—You have made an exchange of hats,—as probably you by this time with horror discover!
Your counterpart (left gloveless & with your hat on his head) is Wedgwood,1 “Mr Wedgwood, 42. Chester Terrace, Regent's Park,”—whom you will find a very fine fellow when you call upon him.— He is on your side of the Town too.2
Yours ever truly /
T. Carlyle
