TC TO EDWARD CHAPMAN
Chelsea, 3 Decr, 1849
Dear Sir,—Two Copies of Cromwell were (doubtless) sent by you to your Edinburgh Agent; one for Edinr itself, another for Haddington, a place in the neighbourhood. As no notice whatever reaches us of either Copy's having arrived, we apprehend the Edinr Bookseller must have, by some accident, neglected them; and I beg you to give him, as soon as possible, some small admonition on the subject.
Yours always truly /
E. Chapman Esq
