Dear Sir,
I am sorry we missed you last Sunday; doubly so, as I find now I have forgotten even to write!
Of course I accept with great pleasure the honour of being a vicepresident:1—I remember too that I owe you a guinea; and will duly pay it the first time I am lucky enough to see you here.
