Of course I shall be very happy to receive a copy of Mallet—du-Pan's Life and Correspondence, if the Author be pleased to make me such a gift. I remember the man, out of old years as a respectable negociating journalising royalist-constitutional Appearance; but never hitherto had occasion to make closer acquaintance with him.
