It appears the unfortunate and troublesome Mr Lenthall (see inverted page) had ordered, and has received, the wrong “Supplement to Cromwell”: it was the Supplement to the First Edition that he wanted,—the big Supplement, which contains many Letters taken from Cary's Memorials of the Civil War:1—pray send him that also straightway, and let us have done with him
