[30 June 1855?]

Mem.— Henry once took me to a shop of misfitted shoes in Holborn (W. of the top of Drury Lane somewhere); the people, it appeared, have somewhere in Westminster another shop of misfitted WOMEN's shoes.1 The mistress of this house earnestly requests the address for said Westminster misfitted Shop; intending to repair thither for relief in the shoeing department, quàm primum [as soon as possible].

Henry will not forget, nor to be speedy!
