Here, along with your 3 voll. intended for the Printer,1 is a Copy of my own (same edition), in which are marked occasionally on the margins hints of such things as were sent to me, or as occurred to me, for behoof of a following edition. By no means all of them are to get attended to (i.e. their petition fulfilled) in this new editn: but all of them ought to be heard speak again.
I send you the Ipsissimum Corpus [very body] of the Book, as my shortest method; please keep your eye upon it while reading the other: but you need not mark anything in it,—only in the other, such reference as is needful.—
