Chelsea 23 March, 1858—

Dear Sir,—Since Wms & Norgate are not paid, I wish you wd do that duty for me. If you could call tomorrow (or whatever day after, shd tomorrow not be your day) there wd be lying for you the money (12/ I think); and the Norgates wd receipt their Acct, and deliver me wholly out of their Books, where I don‘t like to be.— The answer to the Photograph people1 is, “No, thank you; not by any means!”— — Robson is astir again this morning; but his rate for the last 3 weeks has been sluggish to a pitch. The Cüstrin map2 (Proof this morng) does very well.— Yours ever truly

T. Carlyle
