Darwin was here yesterday; I left at Stanhope Street from his Cab a Fn Quarterly Review, in case any of you like to look at it. No horse for me yet, not till tomorrow: “Course of Physic Sir,—terribly low!” As his rider's case is,—both ways!
Christie came on Monday night: has £14 in Savings Bank, a prosperous happy Christie!2— Perry for his rent: I paid him.3: Appendix getting on.—— Mr Baring sends me Lord Lincoln's Letter about the White Quaker this morning,4—who seems to be somewhat of a knave as well as Court-Contemner! I forward it in silence to Ironside;5 hope it will annihilate something in that quarter.— — Adieu, adieu!
